Built Up Roofing

Built up roofing, also known as "tar and asphalt" roofing is one of the oldest types of low-slope roofing. Multiple layers of asphalt or tar are laid in between sheets of reinforcing material such as fiberglass mats, organic felts, or polyester. The roof is finished off with a layer of gravel or other coating. Built up roofs are flexible, durable, and more resistant to abuse than other low slope roofing systems.

Modified Bitumen Roofing

Modified bitumen roofs are similar to built up roofs. They involved sheets of plastic or rubber materials mixed into asphalt, providing greater resistance to brittleness at cold temperatures and greater durability at high temperatures. They are able to provide a fire rated roof over your structure.

Single Ply Membrane Roofing

Single ply membrane roofs are single sheets of synthetic rubber material such as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) or plastics such as PVC vinyl. These systems are flexible, fire-resistant, and can last for decades, though in certain circumstances PVC can become brittle and subject to breaking down. One of the great benefits of a white PVC vinyl roof is that it keeps a building significantly cooler than a dark-colored roof, which absorbs heat rather than reflecting it.

Cold-Process Roofing

Cold process roofing, also known as liquid roofing, is an increasingly popular choice for commercial roofing. Instead of heat-applied methods such as asphalt or heat welding of PVC, a liquid membrane is spread over a sheet material.
